Sister Wives star Meri Brown opened up about whether she’s currently dating after splitting up with Kody Brown. Meri and Kody were married for 33 years when the former decided to ditch Kody after she was no longer happy in their relationship. At one point, they got legally divorced so Kody could get married to Robyn Brown, his fourth wife. Now, though, Robyn is Kody’s only wife, following Meri, Christine Brown and Janelle Brown’s back-to-back-to-back decisions to leave him. Meri’s life has improved; she recently celebrated her “loving companion,” a dog named Zona, and reached 1 million followers on Instagram.

‘ Meri Brown revealed some updates about her dating life, including whether she’s in an ”
exclusive
” relationship with anyone.
Meri was interviewed by Today and revealed some updates about her dating life. The Sister Wives star is single right now, and while she has re-entered the dating scene, she’s not dating anybody “exclusively.” Meri can’t wait for the day when “my person” enters her life and she can settle down into a relationship. There’s no timetable in mind because she knows “it’ll happen when it happens.”
At one point in the interview, Meri joked that she doesn’t want to date a man who shares Kody’s name, though it might be fine if his name was spelled differently. On a more serious note, the Sister Wives star knows what characteristics and personality traits she’s looking for in a future partner. “My ideal person is somebody who is confident and takes control and encourages me to be the best person that I can be…He’s got to meet my energy,” she said.
Meri has experienced a lot of drama in her life, especially with Kody. As a result, she wants to ensure that whoever she dates or settles down with in the future doesn’t “bring in past garbage.” She’s been going to therapy to work through her own trauma because “I don’t think that’s fair to bring into a relationship.”
What Meri Brown’s Dating Status Means After Leaving Kody
Meri Is Far More Mature Than Kody
Meri’s observations on her current dating life show how much maturity she has, especially compared to Kody. The Sister Wives season 19 star recognizes that the baggage she carries from their marriage isn’t easy to shake off, so she’s going to therapy to try to put that drama in the past. Along those same lines, she’s trying not to be a hypocrite in terms of what she expects each side to bring to the relationship. Since she doesn’t want her future partner to keep his “past garbage” alive, she knows she needs to step up and make sure she doesn’t do that either.
