The Barclays Women’s Super League continues to make itself felt off the pitch as much as on it, with fans now increasingly able to live, breathe and celebrate their favourite teams and players.
Panini has enjoyed huge success with its official WSL sticker collections, delivering an inaugural album in 2023/24 that was so well received it perfectly demonstrated the enormous thirst that exists in a cultural and collectibles space for women’s club football.
The iconic Italian brand released the 2024/25 sticker collection in November and has now gone a step further with the first ever WSL set of the much-loved Adrenalyn XL trading cards.
Nikki Doucet, Women’s Professional Leagues Ltd (WPLL) chief executive, said, “…having our players celebrated in trading card form alongside that is very much another landmark moment for the women’’s game.”
The Adrenalyn XL collection features 360 cards, including the must-have Golden Ballers. There are five of those to find, including superstars Alessia Russo, Lauren James and Grace Clinton. Rising Star, Debut and Game Changer categories also celebrate the league’s breakthrough talents.
Super Stoppers, World Class, Adrenalyn Rush, Midfield Engine and Defensive Rock are others to look out for, while there are also rare Crystal Crest cards, and Limited Edition cards too.
“Our Adrenalyn XL trading cards continue to engage collectors and fans within the men’s game as the most popular trading card in the UK,” said Katie Gritt, Panini’s head of marketing for sport. “So to now be able to bring the fun of collecting these to fans of the women’s game is yet another landmark achievement for the growth of the game.

Collectors can kick start their collection with a starter pack, which includes a binder, three packets, one Limited Edition card and one Golden Baller card.
