Peter and Mary Jane have been able to have an extended relationship for years at a time, both in certain eras of Marvel Comics’ main timeline and in alternate timelines such as 2024’s Ultimate Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker finds himself completely alone after Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s ending. However, this isn’t meant to be the end of Spider-Man’s MCU journey, and Holland’s Peter can still reunite with Zendaya’s MJ in the future. Tom Holland and Zendaya’s real-life relationship is also a remarkable love story that provides a template for Peter and MJ’s relationship in the MCU, which could culminate in marriage.
