Match Preview
Manchester United fans may be more excited about the future than they are the present but they still have work to do if they are to advance in this season’s Europa League.
Ruben Amorim starts work at Old Trafford on November 11 and he will hope to arrive with the club having a strong foundation in every competition. Erik ten Hag led United to three successive draws, against FC Twente, Porto and Fenerbahce, and Ruud van Nistelrooy will be tasked with getting their first win when PAOK visit Old Trafford tomorrow night.
Interim boss Van Nistelrooy has so far led United to an EFL Cup victory over Leicester City and a Premier League draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
PAOK will be no pushovers though. They sit second in the Greek Super League but have found the going tougher in Europe with defeats to Galatasaray and Steaua Bucharest and a draw last time out against Viktoria Plzen.
