American Idol winner Abi Carter is prepping for the release of her upcoming debut album, and she’s counting down the days by announcing brand-new projects. Abi wowed American Idol season 22 fans with her covers of songs like Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For,” Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well.” After winning, she decided not to sign with a record label, but she’s still going full-steam ahead with her music career. In recent months, Abi has released multiple songs and is now days away from releasing her first album, Ghosts In The Backyard.

Abi just announced two exciting tie-ins to her upcoming album. The first is a line of merch that fans can buy. She is selling everything from T-shirts and hoodies to hats, tote bags and posters. The clothing has various designs, but all are tied in to Ghosts In The Backyard, including song titles and phrases connected to her music. The poster is the cheapest product at $10, and the prices go up from there, with the hoodies selling for $60.
The merch line isn’t the only project Abi just announced, though. The American Idol winner is also planning to host an album release party on the night that Ghosts In The Backyard officially drops. The event will take place in Indio, California, at 7:30 p.m., with the doors opening at 6 p.m.
Unlike her debut concert over the summer, the album release party is free, but there are stipulations for fans who want to attend. Attendees will need to pre-save the album on Spotify or Apple Music, and include a screenshot as proof when filling out a form. The first 125 people who show up will be admitted. For now, the location is a secret, but those who join the guest list will be contacted with additional details.
