AC Milan are close to signing Kyle Walker from Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking to the press a few days ago, City manager Pep Guardiola revealed that Walker had asked to leave the club this month. He was left out of the squad for the Brentford draw earlier this week, and the England defender is not expected to be in contention for the game against Ipswich on Sunday either.
The 34-year-old is apparently very keen on joining the seven-time European champions. The negotiations over the personal terms on a two-and-a-half-year contract are set to take place soon.
Having joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 for over €50 million, Walker has made a total of 319 appearances for the club, helping them win six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the 2023 Champions League, followed by the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

More contacts planned to complete agreement on personal terms with Walker and his camp until June 2027.
