How FC 25 Rush Mode Works In All Game Modes

EA Sports FC 25 looked to continue the franchise’s success while adding a new Rush mode that works in multiple ways. The yearly football installation has been released to mixed reviews but is still a fun addition. The various game modes and multiplayer options still allow for fun alone or with friends. FC 25‘s major downsides are technical issues, which will hopefully be fixed with time, and the lack of any major new features.

Rush is a 5v5 game mode where two teams of four players with a computer-controlled goalkeeper will face off. There are no exact positions in Rush, making it that all four users are responsible for offense and defense on the shrunk fields. The seven-minute match also has slightly different rules, like a set offside line instead of it being based on a team’s defensive position, and blue cards being issued out instead of red cards that force a player to sit out for one minute.

Which Game Modes Work With Rush

A Flexible Experience

Luckily, Rush is not limited to a base mode irrelevant to all the others. This new fast-paced mode can be played vanilla, in Manager Career, Ultimate Team, and Clubs. However, each version has differences, to avoid repetitiveness and users only using the best attackers in FC 25, along with rewards that benefit participating in Rush.

Four Different Versions Of Rush

The base Rush mode lets players pick one team and select five players from that squad. This is the fastest way to get into a match while also enjoying one’s favorite team. However, in Manager mode, Rush is only used for youth players. Though this option doesn’t introduce as many popular players, it allows for an avenue to develop the future of one’s club, whether managing one of FC 25‘s best teams or building up a lower-tier side.

Ultimate Team Rush lets the user, or users if played with others, bring items from their team to compete. Rush in Ultimate Team will offer its unique currency which is used to purchase various rewards. Lastly, Clubs Rush takes four user-created characters and pits them against another four. The reward in this case is experience towards earning skill points to upgrade the user-created players.

Overall, Rush is a great addition for quick gameplay and alternate ways of gaining rewards. Though it is not perfect and can be unbalanced at times, the same issues can also be said about regular matches. Regardless, Rush is the ideal option for those who want a more arcade experience or quick matches. All with the added benefit of each mode in EA Sports FC 25 having a different version of Rush.
