It’s shown that Elementary’s powers are affected by her emotions, rapidly changing in between the elements and combining with other components around her such as water from the sprinkler system, so Peter Parker enlists the help of the villain Hydro-Man. While helping her, Hydro-Man and Elementary accidentally combine, causing their minds to merge and allowing them to read each other’s minds and thoughts. This causes Hydro-Man to be overwhelmed by Juliet Marcos’ turbulent emotional state but this newly discovered ability may be a potential asset for when Juliet teams up with other element-based Heroes like Johnny Storm.
