A priest, coincidentally his birth father, finds him and puts him in an abusive foster home. From there, Patrick grows up in a dark situation, but continues to strive towards his true identity. He eventually identifies as a transgender woman and pursues new and dangerous careers. Neeson plays Patrick’s priest father.
